Grants & Funding For Training
Training for improved business performance
We all want to improve our skills and be able to respond to the needs of our customers and clients better.
Training can result in improvements to productivity, competitiveness, morale and motivation - and also to profits. It makes sound business sense to invest in developing your skills - and those of your workforce - on an ongoing basis.
Skills development is essential for the UK to remain competitive in a fast-changing global economy.
In many businesses though the cost of time out to train and the actual training fees can put the efficiency improvements that training bring to a company out of reach.
Times are tough. Businesses and employees are experiencing greater economic hardships. The Government recognises that these are challenging times for employers and that is why it is focusing on providing real help to ensure that businesses and individuals get the support they need to survive and to make the most of the new opportunities the upturn will bring.
Employers who traditionally may not have delivered skills training to their employees are now able to apply for financial contributions and support utilising many of the grants that are currently available.
